I am a Reading Specialist at Summitview Elementary School currently supporting students in kindergarten through grade five. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Millersville University and a Reading Masters degree from Shippensburg University. Before becoming a reading teacher, my classroom experiences were in first and fourth grades in the Waynesboro Area School District.
I am excited to have the opportunity to share my love of literacy with the students I interact with at Summitview. It is my goal to foster the love of reading, not only for personal enjoyment, but to practice the skills needed to develop independence and a desire for lifelong learning.
