For ELA, the students are expected to read 20 minutes each night (M-Th) and 30 minutes over the weekend.  They are also expected to check their AR progress once a week and record their progress in their planner under Friday of that week (no matter which day they check it on).  Then, they are to ask a parent or guardian to sign where they wrote their progress.  This will be checked each Friday morning and will count as a homework grade each week.

The students will occasionally have homework in Science.

Below are the different categories that you will see in the grade book for both ELA and Social Studies.
